Clinical Supervision

Francisco Betancourt, LPC is a clinical supervisor with a decade of experience. His professional experiences and speciality areas include trauma, drug and alcohol treatment, dialectical behavioral therapy, couples counseling, and refugee/resettlement work.

He has held a variety of clinical leadership positions and has worked with clients huddled under bridges to those in governmental protection. Francisco is a bilingual Spanish speaking professional who can offer multicultural case conceptualizations you may not find in other traditional clinical supervisory experiences. His style is knowledge and skills focused, with intentions and belief in crafting you into the professional counselor/social worker you aspire to be.

Only 6 spots can ever be claimed under his one license to practice. Clinical Supervision occurs regularly and consistently on a weekly basis. It can be offered individually and/or as a group which runs every week. Francisco is directly responsible for the successful direction and training of nearly 20 high quality clinicians within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to clinical supervision offered at the post master's level, there are also opportunities for graduate level clinical internships at the practice. He has successfully worked with entities such as the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Seton Hill University, Franciscan University, Geneva College, Slippery Rock University, formerly California University of Pennsylvania now known as Pennsylvania Western University, and finally University of Mary.

Any level of supervision with Francisco may end at the time of your graduation or licensure attainment, but the clinical support is always indefinite.
